Do you have a passion for eco-tourism, ethical travel or green living? We would love to share your story!

Volunteering Guest Post

Grassroots Nomad loves to share stories of real life grassroots volunteering experiences. If you are interested, please read through some of the articles on this site to see whether your experience is consistent with our mission and values. Please note, we are unlikely to accept any articles about volunteer experiences at orphanages.

These articles should be:

  • Original and well-edited
  • 650-950 words
  • 2-3 high-quality horizontal photos
  • A short author bio and photograph. This should include your website link and social media links as well as a photo that will be included
  • A short organisation bio. This should include a link to their website.
  • This is a rolling, monthly series so one article per month will be published on a first-come-first-served basis.

Examples of previous articles in this series include: Volunteering in South Africa…with Sharks; Volunteering with Refugees in ‘the Jungle’; and Volunteering in South Africa – Baboon Rehabilitation.
